A new season awaits.

Hello ma dears! How are you! After seven weeks of travel and adventure through Canada, Alaska and the United States, I am excited to be back here writing yippee :) And after one week of "I'm pretending I'm not jetlagged but let's be honest.. hello.. I totally have jetlag", I am beginning to feel slightly normal woo hoo! This is how I have been feeling most of this week... (yawn) :-/
Slightly exhausted! Well, when you think about it... after travelling 40 hours westward from NYC, who wouldn't feel a little wiped out! Anywayyyyyy... take a look at these pretty petals above. I snapped them yesterday -- how I adore Magnolias. Faithful little friends, year after year they are the first to flower, releasing their beautiful bright pink blossom into the dreary, winter sky. And now everywhere we look, there they are! In full bloom, they sprout in abundance, reminding us that a new season is officially here!
Ah sweet Brooklyn Bridge. I took this summery pic a few weeks ago in New York. Hooray for blue skies and warm air! And it's coming our way too! So as we enter this new season, let us focus on forgetting what is behind and straining towards what we know is ahead of us. It's time to dream! A new season awaits you today, and I want to challenge you. Write out five things you are believing for in this new season.... and I will agree with you that they will come to pass! Deal?

Have the best Tuesday ever!

Fun and joy and giggles.

Good morning happy Monday my friends! Well it's Sunday where I am, but isn't it funny that wherever you are in the world, there are usually other places ahead of you. And, no matter how hard you try, you can never catch up! I was thinking this is sometimes how we live, looking at others, where they at and what they are doing, instead living our own amazing lives. So instead of comparing with others, and always trying to 'keep up', it's just better to take the pressure off, live in the moment and take in the view from where you're sitting. This is me last week in Denali National Park. Not a bad view hey! :)
I love this image of the little girls above. It symbolises so much. Joy, excitement, dreaming, freedom, adventure, friendship, innocence, honesty, fun, love and trust. I wonder what they were doing just before this picture was snapped? Or what would have happened after? I bet there was laughter. I bet there were many girly giggles. And I am sure beyond a shadow of a doubt that there was no fear. :) Would you like to be in this place? I would! So let's come back to that place this week. Dancing, dreaming, excitement, freedom, adventure, fun, honesty, friendship, love, trust and JOY! This is a brand new week and great things have already been planned for you! I am heading to church this morning (yippee), then I am flying to Las Vegas to meet up with my sweet friend for our girly adventure! I just read this and it's sooo encouraging! I declare it over you today. "God can do anything, you know - far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams!"

Bless you and have a wonderful week! :)

Your declaration creates.

Hi peeps happy Thursday :) How has this week been for you? I've had a good week.. writing away, packing boxes like they are going out of fashion (how funny is that saying when you think about it..) and anyway, I'm just really excited for a NEW SEASON!
As you may have heard me share, my theme at the moment is to stir my expectation to actually believe that "anything can happen". And for me this is usually coupled with a declaration. However, I have discovered that in order for me to actually believe what I am saying, it needs to start in my mind first.
When I'm declaring that "anything can happen!" and that "something amazing is going to happen to me today!", I have to actually believe it. I'm not sure if this happens to you, but I'll declare something huge over my life, but then it's like it takes my mind a moment to adjust and enlarge itself to be able to fathom and believe it. Does that make sense? But we have to stretch our minds to think like God thinks. And He thinks big.
He stretches out the stars over northern space,
and he hangs the earth on nothing. Nothing!
The sun is 150 million kilometres away. It takes 8 minutes (travelling at 300,000 mt per second) for light to reach us from the sun. Alpha Centauri is the brightest star in the sky, because it's the closest star to earth. By 'closest' it is 4.3 light years away. 41 trillion kilometres away! This is 300,000 x the distance of earth to the sun. Now this all hurts my brain and amazes me, but it also makes me look up and stand in awe of the One who created it all in one breath!
And at the same time as creating all that splendour, with one word,
the power of His declaration also created this teeny little thing.
So whatever it is in your heart.. remember: your declaration creates. It creates either life or death. So let us stir ourselves up, renew our thinking and make the biggest declarations we can possibly imagine! Cos guess what? If God promises He'll do "superabundantly far over and above all we dare ask or think", then as soon as you've even thought it, he's already matched you and raised you! So you'd better start declaring crazy big ;) Because something incredible is going to happen to you today!
Have an amazing day :)

Anything can happen.

What did you want to be when you were little? For the girls, was it a princess or a singer? Or a teacher or maybe it was Cinderella being whisked off to the ball? Guys, perhaps for you it was superman, or spiderman.. or a fireman or a policeman? Whatever it was, I'm sure it was extravagant! I know when I am asking my ten year old niece what she wants do when she grows up, it's never something mundane and small! Why? Because kids default to extravagance. They're fearless and they simply believe anything can happen. Extravagance is their normal.
Expectation is so powerful. And when we add words to our expectation, these become our declarations. This works positively and negatively of course. Life and death is in the power of the tongue, the bible tells us. So when we are negative, always declaring "things will never change, I always have this problem", we are actually carving out a path for ourselves with our words and our expectation. But, today is a new day... so you get a fresh start!
When we stir our faith to believe that things ARE going to change, declaring with our mouth "something is about to happen in my life, I can feel it! I declare a shift in my situation! I expect something to happen this week and I take the limits off!!".. things begin to change and we start to get excited.
A few weeks ago I decided to write three words on a piece of paper and stick them on my desk. ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN. Every few moments I would look at them and allow my mindset to shift to the place where I actually believed it. Sometimes it would take a few moments, but after a while, whenever I glanced at the words, something in my spirit would leap, believing that without a doubt anything could happen. And I began to expect it.
Superabundantly far over and above all we dare ask or think - that's the Amplified version. Think about that. Whatever you imagine, God has already matched it and raised it. So keep dreaming bigger!
Over the past week a number of miraculous opportunities have presented themselves to me (which I will tell you about very soon!) but in short, I have been completely shocked and overwhelmed at the faithfulness of our wonderful God. :)
So let me encourage you to get ready. Lift your vision. Make room. Because something is about to happen in your life. I don't know what it is, but it's going to be good. So stir your faith. Take the limits off and renew your mind, because guess what?
It can, and it will. So believe it today. And please let me know when it happens so I can celebrate with you!

Happy Monday friends...

love nat x
