Nothing Can Stop God's Plan For Your Life.

It's true! And even though sometimes it feels like things are taking their time, or plans are not happening, things are always, always, always in motion. Think about a musical or a play, behind the scenes is usually even more busy than what's happening ON the stage. So right now, as you are reading these very words, God is busy at work behind the scenes of your life, working and weaving everything together according to his wonderful plan. Below is the architect's blueprint by Walt Disney Imagineering for the Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom, Disney World. Just as this castle was meticulously planned before it was built... the blueprint for YOUR life has already been planned, not only before you were born, but before God even said "let there be light." Ha ha I feel the little girl in me getting a just a little bit excited about this pic... 

And you know what? And once the plan is in place, there is actually nothing that can stop it. I've been sick with a silly throat infection the last three days, and last night as I was laying in bed, eight words just flashed into my mind like lightning. Nothing can stop God's plan for my life. So what does this mean for us? We all have dreams and desires in our hearts, we're believing and declaring, and often waiting for things to come to pass, but what we can see is "the stage". We can't see "behind the scenes". Anyway, last night as those eight words of truth exploded into my mind, they took over every negative thought, doubt and question and released a flood of hope and encouragement. So in addition to coughing and spluttering, I was also very encouraged last night! And I pray that as you read these words the same thing will happen to you. May be filled with fresh hope today! Xx

Did you realise, without you even thinking about it, the sun rose this morning? 

Nothing could stop it.

And guess what, it's going to set tonight. Nothing can stop it.

Think about the last beach you went to... even though you're long gone, 

those waves are still coming in. Nothing can stop them.

In Winter, the snow is going to fall. Nothing can stop it.

As the rain and the snow come down from heaven...

And do not return to it without watering the earth...

Making it bud and flourish,

so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater...

So is my word that goes out from my mouth:

It will NOT return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire

and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:10)

So just like nothing can stop the sun rising, or setting, or the waves coming in, or the seasons changing... NOTHING can stop His plan for your life! It might seem slow in coming to pass but...

So be encouraged today okay. Things are happening! Behind the scenes, right at this very moment, God is busy at work, preparing, planning, weaving and working things together so you can be released into the glorious destiny he has for you. There is no other day like today, and something amazing is awaiting you.

Hooray :):) It's Friday friends! How has your weekend been? 

I am actually pretty exhausted from all the socialising I have been doing... how hilarious! 

There's just so much to do! From watching the tennis at Fed Square, to the Moonlight Cinema... coffees on Lygon Street to fish 'n' chips and late night beach fun, to walking around 'the tan' and meandering through streets... it's been so fun, but at the same time I kinda think I may need to rest ha!! The weekend is almost here, and I would love to encourage you to do something today. You may in fact do this already, or you may do it later in the day - but these are the words  I am putting in front of myself today... care to join me?

 Anything can happen. AS in... ANY-THING.

And all it takes is a moment. In one moment, something can happen. 
In one moment, everything can change.

So be ready for it, expect it... and thank God for it.

5 Minute Vacation :: Lake Como

Hi Writers Ink friends, how are you? :) I wish this was a video blog, so then I could see you all and find out how you're really doing! What are you are up to this week? Feel free to leave me a little comment below.. I'd reeeeally love to know what's happening with you! For those of you in Melbourne, how cold is this weather?! Well as much as I will admit I am loving all the layers, wearing boots again and rugging up with beanies and scarves, my heart will always, always belong to Summer. :) 

And for me, Summer is actually not too far away, because I just found out...... I am going to Canada and Alaska in July for work! For a month! I'm going on our 'Canada and Alaska Summer Tour', and I'll be writing articles and pieces on all the wonderful places we travel to. I'll tell you more about it over the next few days, but let's just say it's a huge answer to prayer and I am very excited about it all! So let me encourage you.. seriously.. ANYTHING really can happen. Anything. Anyway, enough about me and more about you. Let me take you on a little adventure today.. and whatever you're up to, I pray you will be refreshed and blessed by these stunning photos. So off we go to Lake Como.... First up, you'll be attending a very swish gala event here at Villa del Balbianello. 

And below is the villa you will be staying at.. this is the sun room.

Take a stroll through these gardens..

And after all your meandering, you'll definitely deserve a coffee..

So sit back and enjoy the view. Then go for a wander under these beauties..

Before taking an afternoon trip into Varenna. 

And then, at the very end of a magical day..

We will all gather together on the terrace for a beautiful meal!

Anything can happen.

What did you want to be when you were little? For the girls, was it a princess or a singer? Or a teacher or maybe it was Cinderella being whisked off to the ball? Guys, perhaps for you it was superman, or spiderman.. or a fireman or a policeman? Whatever it was, I'm sure it was extravagant! I know when I am asking my ten year old niece what she wants do when she grows up, it's never something mundane and small! Why? Because kids default to extravagance. They're fearless and they simply believe anything can happen. Extravagance is their normal.

Expectation is so powerful. And when we add words to our expectation, these become our declarations. This works positively and negatively of course. Life and death is in the power of the tongue, the bible tells us. So when we are negative, always declaring "things will never change, I always have this problem", we are actually carving out a path for ourselves with our words and our expectation. But, today is a new day... so you get a fresh start!

When we stir our faith to believe that things ARE going to change, declaring with our mouth "something is about to happen in my life, I can feel it! I declare a shift in my situation! I expect something to happen this week and I take the limits off!!".. things begin to change and we start to get excited.

A few weeks ago I decided to write three words on a piece of paper and stick them on my desk. ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN. Every few moments I would look at them and allow my mindset to shift to the place where I actually believed it. Sometimes it would take a few moments, but after a while, whenever I glanced at the words, something in my spirit would leap, believing that without a doubt anything could happen. And I began to expect it.

Superabundantly far over and above all we dare ask or think - that's the Amplified version. Think about that. Whatever you imagine, God has already matched it and raised it. So keep dreaming bigger! 

Over the past week a number of miraculous opportunities have presented themselves to me (which I will tell you about very soon!) but in short, I have been completely shocked and overwhelmed at the faithfulness of our wonderful God. :)

So let me encourage you to get ready. Lift your vision. Make room. Because something is about to happen in your life. I don't know what it is, but it's going to be good. So stir your faith. Take the limits off and renew your mind, because guess what?

It can, and it will. So believe it today. And please let me know when it happens so I can celebrate with you!

Creative inspiration.

What are you expecting today? Did you open your eyes this morning and think "oh my goodness.. seriously.. (insert your name here) you better get ready, because today I am going to create something that has never existed before, something incredible is going to happen in my life and I am never going to be the same!"

Well if you didn't think that, it's okay - it's not too late. Whatever you are doing today, whatever area of work you are in, wherever you are on this planet.. here's what you have the opportunity to declare!

That's right! And there is a new creative path ready and waiting for you to take today.

"First this: God created the Heavens and Earth—all you see, all you don’t see. 

Earth was a soup of nothingness, a bottomless emptiness, an inky blackness. 

God’s Spirit brooded like a bird above the watery abyss. God spoke: “Light!”

Our incredible Creator hasn't stopped creating since the foundations of the earth. Above is an example of his artwork. And just like Him, we have within us the ability to create, every single day. There are new strategies awaiting us. New thoughts.. new concepts.. new ways.. new experiences and new ideas. So I am putting us all to the test. Today we must create something. 

So what will you create? Today I am working on a creative project for Spectrum Holidays, designing the window displays for two of our tours coming up. France & Italy and South America = very fun! Will be sure to take pics and share them next week.

Up and away.

What is it about hot air balloons that are so magical? Whenever I see them in the sky (the prerequisite of course being that you have to actually be up that early in the morning!) I always have the same childlike reaction. 

It doesn't matter how many times I have seen them soaring through the crisp morning air,

they never cease to create such a sense of awe and delight.

Floating majestically through the air, a wonderful sense of  hope and expectation 

arises as the sun appears, declaring the miracle of a new day.

It's funny, I always thought hot air balloons went up before dawn for the sole purpose of seeing the sunrise. This is true, however there is another reason. They need cool, stable winds to fly, and directly after sunrise is the best time for this. 

Another amazing thing is that hot air balloon pilots are not permitted to directly steer the balloon. The only thing they can determine is the height at which the balloon flies, and then.. they must let the wind do all the work. 

What a beautiful analogy this is. Sometimes our circumstances might not look right, the mountains may appear huge, everything around us might be dark and cold, and at times it may look like we can't even get off the ground; but just as hot air balloon pilots follow the guidance of the wind, things can tend to be a lot easier for us if we simply take a step back and...

  

Have the best day today knowing that you are amazing. And that you are equipped for every good work. 
So be encouraged... this is your season of soaring!

All things are made new.

Happy Easter :) I hope you had a great weekend! Can you believe we're now in April?! This year is going so fast don't you think? Anyway, a new month makes me think of a fresh start. Kinda like a new page.. that feeling of having a second chance and a new beginning. 

I've been pondering this "fresh start" over Easter, and how incredible it is that by one Man's act of obedience and sacrifice, everything is made new. Every single day. For all eternity.

Then He who sat on the throne said...
“Behold, I make all things new."

So it's a new day for you today! And just remember that whatever you do, whatever you give, however you serve or encourage others, be assured... you're going to reap a bountiful harvest!

I am at Planetshakers Conference this week, so I'm going to have a few days away from the blog. But I shall be back next week to tell you alllll about it!!
