Friday Fashionista :: Emerald green loveliness.

Can you believe it's Friday again?! It feels like yesterday I was sharing all that fabulous Winter Inspiration from last week's Friday Fashionista. :) Anyway here we are again and today's feature is on special request. So sit back, relax and scroll through this sea of sparkling Emerald Green prettiness!
Love this fedora. I think I wore mine almost every second day this summer. Green chiffon, aviators, gold skinny belt, fringe bucket bag, gold jewellery, studded pumps = what a great outfit.
Love how the colour pops against Emma Stone's beautiful hair!
Fabulously sparkly pants teamed with classic demin and gold flats. Love it.
I wonder if they brought the umbrellas in to match.. ;)
Preppy emerald. A winner with tartan and navy.
And again for the boys, emerald with tartan.
For the girls, rock it with cream, cobalt blue and tan.
Love this shade of green.. So lovely against dark denim and red rimmed shades.
So many greens in one pic!
Green and tan really are great friends.
And again, above and below.. teamed with faded denim = perfection!
Love the leopard skinny belt and all these lovely jewels.
A darker shade..
I'm on the hunt for more of these chunky scarves.. they are SO versatile!
Matchy matchy.. stripes and checks.
Just thought I'd throw in a summer shot to cheer us all up.
Only 6 months to go guys.. ;)
And to finish, this stunning outfit was featured as part of Harper's Bazaar's London Fashion Week Fall Street Style 2013. The textures of the skirt and this exquisite coat are just divine! And that whispy braid just exudes effortless glamour. So friends that's it for me.. hope you liked these pics. Let me know if you have any requests for next Friday! Happy weekend! (Now I'd better get back to packing.... eek, moving day tomorrow!! :-/)

Your declaration creates.

Hi peeps happy Thursday :) How has this week been for you? I've had a good week.. writing away, packing boxes like they are going out of fashion (how funny is that saying when you think about it..) and anyway, I'm just really excited for a NEW SEASON!
As you may have heard me share, my theme at the moment is to stir my expectation to actually believe that "anything can happen". And for me this is usually coupled with a declaration. However, I have discovered that in order for me to actually believe what I am saying, it needs to start in my mind first.
When I'm declaring that "anything can happen!" and that "something amazing is going to happen to me today!", I have to actually believe it. I'm not sure if this happens to you, but I'll declare something huge over my life, but then it's like it takes my mind a moment to adjust and enlarge itself to be able to fathom and believe it. Does that make sense? But we have to stretch our minds to think like God thinks. And He thinks big.
He stretches out the stars over northern space,
and he hangs the earth on nothing. Nothing!
The sun is 150 million kilometres away. It takes 8 minutes (travelling at 300,000 mt per second) for light to reach us from the sun. Alpha Centauri is the brightest star in the sky, because it's the closest star to earth. By 'closest' it is 4.3 light years away. 41 trillion kilometres away! This is 300,000 x the distance of earth to the sun. Now this all hurts my brain and amazes me, but it also makes me look up and stand in awe of the One who created it all in one breath!
And at the same time as creating all that splendour, with one word,
the power of His declaration also created this teeny little thing.
So whatever it is in your heart.. remember: your declaration creates. It creates either life or death. So let us stir ourselves up, renew our thinking and make the biggest declarations we can possibly imagine! Cos guess what? If God promises He'll do "superabundantly far over and above all we dare ask or think", then as soon as you've even thought it, he's already matched you and raised you! So you'd better start declaring crazy big ;) Because something incredible is going to happen to you today!
Have an amazing day :)

5 Minute Vacation :: 12 Things to Do in Paris.

Welcome to Monday morning ma' friends! How was your weekend?! Well, I continued my lovely packing journey, and still managed to play the "let's hide all the boxes by shoving them in the laundry and garage" game so I could have people over Friday and Saturday night! (And hey, let me say it was well worth it!) So, anyway.. here we are at the beginning of another week, and what better time than a Monday morning to head to Paris, don't you agree? How beautiful is the above pic.. this is where you will be staying for the first half of your stay, complete with a scrumptious breaky on the balcony overlooking the Tour de Eiffel. Perfect. :)
Here is your stunning Parisian apartment.. and below, the view from another balcony. Hello!
Rather than doing the 'touristy things',
here are a few fab "off the beaten track" things you can do on your trip to Paris:
1. First up.... shopping.. House of Chanel on Rue Cambon of course.
(Well, maybe a few others will be doing this, but hey.. it's simply a must in my books).
2. Followed by a wander to check out this city's fabulous street fashion.
Ain't nothin' like it.
3. Stroll through the 4th arrondissement and check out the stunning flowers at Marché aux Fleurs et aux Oiseaux
4. Visit Fontaine de Médicis, the stunning water feature in the Jardin du Luxembourg in the 6th arrondissement.
5. Upgrade yourselves to the luxurious 5 star Hotel Le Meurice, located in the 1st arrondissement between Place de la Concorde and Musée du Louvre
6. Meander through the backstreets and admire the spectacular architecture.
Ivy + planter boxes + open windows = a wonderful sight.
7. Ok back to shopping.. we are in Paris after all.. ;)
8. Stroll through Gallerie Vivienne and discover the many other undercover shopping passages hidden in the 2nd arrondissement.
9. Throw the map away, get lost, and take lots of artistic photographs.
(I never knew a row of lamp posts could be so beautiful!)
10. Grab a coffee and chocolate croissant in Le Marais..
Located in the 3rd and 4th arrondissements.

11. Bask in the afternoon sun somewhere.. if it's raining, all the better :)
12. Head to Restaurant Le Dali for dinner!
Have any of you guys ever eaten here?!?! Oh my goodness, I can imagine the food would be food is truly divine. So there it is guys.. a fabulous Paris list. Happy Monday and happy daydreaming!

Friday Fashionista :: Winter inspiration

Woo hoo Friday is here! So with the weather turning a little icy.. I know I know it's nothing like Europe in the winter or anything.. but hey, my head felt so cold when I woke up the other morning I literally felt like I was outside! Anyway, here's some fab winter outfits to get us inspired to layer up, beanie up and of course scarf up. Enjoy!
Doesn't this pic just exude "comfy"?
Cable knit, thick scarf, blanket, book and of course a lovely cuppa.
I ADORE this scarf.. especially against the grey and pale blue denim. Ah.
Neutral and black. Fab.
Boys.. scarf + cardy = winner.
(and of course the bowling bag... hmm)
Pastel prettiness. Love this.
Very Ralph Lauren.
This photo reminds me of a lovely friend of mine..
Great outfit. But so much better with the flowers don't you think?
Love this look.
And snug as a bug.
Navy and grey with a pop of red = great combo..
Well I'll have to admit, these pics have made me feel slightly happier about this chilly weather :) So let us keep inspiring each other with great fashion ideas hey! What are you all up to this weekend? I am moving house next Saturday so I am planning on being in my trackies all day Saturday, packing my house and planning for the week. I'm feeling pretty organised, with all my printed labels (I am such a packing nerd) ha! So I'm believing it's going to be an easy move...:) Ok peeps, well I am off, have a fab weekend and I shall see you in your inbox on Monday morning!
